Personal data
When you use IQResume, you may enter personal data that is needed to create, store, edit and delete your resume. This can include contact details, education, work history, skills and any other information you choose to add to your CV.
Your control
- You can review and update your resume data when you use the management links sent to your email address.
- You can delete your stored resume from IQResume when you no longer need it.
- You can contact us if you need help with access, correction or deletion.
How we use information
- We use the information you enter to provide the resume builder, preview, storage and download features.
- We may use technical information to operate the website, protect the service and improve reliability.
- We may contact you about your resume, payment, download links or support request when it is necessary to provide the service.
- If you separately consent to marketing, we may send occasional CV tips, product updates and limited promotional offers. Marketing consent is optional and does not affect access to the resume builder.
- Stripe processes payment information. IQResume receives payment status and transaction identifiers but does not store full card details.
- Google Analytics is used to understand aggregate website and funnel usage; analytics events must not include names, email addresses, CV identifiers or résumé content.
Marketing email
- Every marketing message contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops promotional messages but does not stop service emails about a CV you create, a payment or a support request.
- We keep a suppression record after an unsubscribe, bounce or spam complaint so that the address is not added back to a campaign by mistake.
- We may use a specialist email delivery provider, such as Mailchimp Transactional, to deliver messages and report delivery, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes and link clicks. Open tracking is disabled for the CV Refresh campaign.
- Where recorded, marketing consent includes its status, time, source and policy version. You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Retention and deletion
Your active résumé remains available through its private links until you delete it or request deletion. The deletion flow removes the active database record and uploaded photo. A restricted recovery record may be retained outside the public web root for backup, restoration and incident-recovery purposes. Recovery records are not automatically removed by a 30-day cleanup job. You can contact us to request permanent erasure of recovery data, subject to any limited legal, security or backup obligations that must still be observed.
Security
Private edit, download and deletion links contain unguessable tokens. Access to administrative tools, runtime logs and recovery files is restricted at the server level. No internet service can promise absolute security; please contact us promptly if you believe a private link has been exposed.
Contact
- We aim to respond to support requests within one business day.
- If you are unsure about anything, contact us through the web form.
